


ABOUT
STUDIO MANO is the works of a Brazilian-Japanese creative, Bruno Nakano, based in California.
Bruno creates singular pieces or small collections of both functional and sculptural figurative ceramic artifacts.
In addition, Bruno also works as a designer and art director, having lived and worked in places such as São Paulo, Madrid, Sydney, New York, and California.

MANO
Mano is the short for hermano which means brother in Spanish, and what Bruno’s little brother used to call him when they’re kids in Mexico.
Since then, his entire family has continued to call him mano.
Also, mano means hand in Spanish.
